An artificial musical agent is a computer programme that listens to a musician’s live sound and responds by controlling a sound synthesiser. The concert consists of four sessions in which solo musicians co-improvise with live computational musical agents that they have trained using selected recordings of their own performances.

The concert will feature SCSCI (Synthesiser Control System for Co-Improvisation), a new software system developed at the University of Oslo, making its public debut.
