The artists<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kate Pendry\u00a0<\/strong> Photo: Jonas Jeramiassen Tomter<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Samuel Brzeski <\/strong> Samuel studied Literature at the University of Sheffield, Art at the Bergen Art Academy, and took part in programmes at the Jan van Eyck Academie (Maastricht), the Maumaus Independent Study Programme (Lisbon) and The Mountain School of Arts (Los Angeles). As an extension of his practice, he runs Vibrational Semantics Press, which publishes texts, scores and sound works by creative practitioners who work with voice and language. Samuel is currently based between Bergen, Norway, and Maastricht, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Samuel Brzeski by Andreas van Hoppe. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Una Aurora Ven\u00e5s<\/strong> Over the past couple of years, Uniah has performed a number of concerts and shows across the country, and her two self-produced music videos Becoming a Ghost (film) <\/em>and Hallucia Film <\/em>were both selected for the Grimstad Short Film Festival. Kate Pendry is an actress and playwright from London, now living and working in Oslo. Renowned for her political and controversial works, she has written and produced over fifty plays, as well as numerous electronic artworks and radio programmes. Samuel Brzeski (UK\/NO) is an artist, writer and publisher who works with language as raw material\u2014shaping, stretching and transforming words on screens, on the page and within the sounds of speech. At the heart of his work lies a playful and performative use of the voice; the voice as a carrier of rhythm, vibration and emotion; the voice as the centre of the human experience of presence. Through the artist\u2019s project Uniah<\/em>, Una Aurora Ven\u00e5s explores her intense fascination with dreaming. Voices, harp, noise textures, scenography, video and drawing are among the elements that converge in her artistic expression.
