The article “Doppelganger: A solenoid-based large scale sound installation” describes technological and artistic development and results in connection with the sound installation work “Doppelganger”. It is written by Asbjørn Blokkum Flø and Hans Wilmers, and published in the NIME (New Interfaces for Musical Expression) Proceedings 2015. The article has an emphasis on the artistic work and the development of electronics, software and mechanics. NIME 2015 was held at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA, May 31 to June 3.

The article “The Intrinsic Value of Timbre in Doppelganger” written by Asbjørn Blokkum Flø and Hans Wilmers, was published in the ICMC (International Computer Music Conference) Proceedings 2015. This extensive article describes, amongst others, timbral issues and artistic models used in “Doppelganger”. It also considers the artistic issues, physical modeling, sound analysis and acoustic models. ICMC was held at the Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia, University of North Texas, Denton, USA, 25 September to 1 October 2015.
