Presentation 20 May: Feliz Anne Reyes Macahis
Feliz Anne Macahis's work spans voice, instruments, and electronics, presented in concert music, performance, and installations. It often draws inspiration from both the materiality and immateriality of the voice. With the voice as an intrinsic part of her practice, she continues to explore its various roles beyond theatricality and its traditional function of conveying a message. Her approach to electronics emphasizes spatiality and communality, extending and complementing acoustic elements.
