Welcome to the live meetup for artists in technology here at Notam! This meetup is a forum open to all, but with a special focus on presentations led by women, transgender and non-binary people working with technology in the arts. At these meetups, participants can share their artistic projects and get input from each other. Typically, the meetup consists of a series of talks and presentations organised by different artists. 

Presentation: Agnes Ida Pettersen - Everything is Connected
In my experience, working with composition from different angles, formats and technical set-ups, there is a transfer of material, thoughts, experiences and so on that helps to shape and expand the musical result - from electronics to acoustics - and from acoustics to electronics. I will present examples of how electronic and acoustic processes interact in the construction of musical material within my compositional practice.

Short bio:
Composer Agnes Ida Pettersen (b. 1981) has been working for many years in a wide range of contemporary expressions, from concert music to stage productions, video, electronic music and cross-genre works.

About the host:
The live meetups are led by composer Mariam Gviniashvili. Mariam Gviniashvili is a sound artist and composer who combines electronics, electroacoustics and 3D sound with visual material, dance and performance to penetrate the physical and emotional essence of sound and space.
