Program Notam Nights

18:00: Exhibition opening "Moans and Groans" (2025) with introduction by Mads Kjeldgaard
Moans and Groans (2025) - Listening through touch is a series of vibrating sound sculptures. The sculptures in Moans and Groans explores this fundamental question: How do we listen with our skin? How does nature with its skin? These questions are explored through a series of sound sculptures that translate recordings of trees’ movements into vibrations in tree branches.

18:30: Concert with Vilbjørg Broch in Notam's broadcast studio
In this concert, Vilbjørg Broch will present a selection of sound works that have been produced over the past year. A general theme is spatialisation and generative synthesis from 3D projections of higher dimensional algebra and geometric structures. Some works will be performed with acoustic vocals and include text excerpts from Kierkegaard's "The Repetition", among others.

The concert will also be played at 19:15 and 21:00.

20:00: Concert with Ole Martin Huser-Olsen and Anders Vinjar
Fingers, arms, body, sizes, distance, geography, direction, shapes, masses, vibrations, electricity.

In the concert, you are both physically present inside in sound, in other places where the sound is, and get to experience the strong physical interaction between a virtuoso and his instrument. Huser-Olsen and Vinjar will perform works by Lasse Passage, Anders Vinjar and J. S. Bach.
