On 15 October there will be a new online SuperCollider Meetup. This time, host Mike McCormick will be joined by Axel Barratt-Due and pulu, a.k.a. Miranda Kastemaa.

Axel Barratt-Due is a sound artist, musician, composer and performance artist based in Oslo and Berlin. They hold a bachelor's degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, a master's degree from the University of the Arts, Berlin and are currently a research fellow at the Norwegian Academy of Music. During live performances, Axel Barratt-Due performs under the pseudonym Canilla - here they build new instruments from old accordions, live code and DIY electronics. Their music is a mix of synthesis, acoustic mechanics and dark poetry.

pulu, a.k.a. Miranda Kastemaa, is a Helsinki-based musician, programmer and sound designer who since 2002 has been working with DAWs, live coding, retrocomputing, field recordings, game development, sensors, microcontrollers, game boys, piano and more to develop musical-visual instruments, interactive installations and performances, as well as songs.
