This Tuesday, Agnes Ida Pettersen will talk about her practice in the presentation Everything is Connected.
"In my experience, working with composition from different angles, formats and technical set-ups, there is a transfer of material, thoughts, experiences and so on that helps to shape and expand the musical result - from electronics to acoustics - and from acoustics to electronics. I will present examples of how electronic and acoustic processes interact in the construction of musical material within my compositional practice."
Composer Agnes Ida Pettersen (b. 1981) has been working for many years in a wide range of contemporary expressions, from concert music to stage productions, video, electronic music and cross-genre works.
