Notam terms of sale

Introduction
Notam's terms and conditions of sale cover the terms and rights relating to the purchase of course places, tickets to events, hire of studio time or professional assistance.  

Purchases from Notam are governed by the following standard terms and conditions of sale for consumer purchases of goods over the Internet. Consumer purchases over the Internet are mainly governed by the Contracts Act, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Marketing Act, the Cancellation Rights Act and the E-Commerce Act, and these laws give the consumer mandatory rights. The laws are available at www.lovdata.no.

The terms of this Agreement shall not be construed as a limitation of any statutory rights, but sets out the principal rights and obligations of the parties to the transaction.

Notam's terms of sale are based on a template from the Norwegian Consumer Authority. 

1. The agreement
The agreement consists of these terms and conditions of sale, information provided in the ordering solution and any separately agreed terms. In the event of any conflict between this information, what has been specifically agreed between the parties shall take precedence, provided that it does not conflict with mandatory legislation. The agreement will also be supplemented by relevant statutory provisions governing the purchase of goods between traders and consumers.

2. The parties
The seller is Notam - Norwegian Centre for Technology, Art and Music, Myrens Verksted 3A, admin@notam.no, +47 467 05 225, org.nr. 983502083, and is hereinafter referred to as the seller/seller. The buyer is the consumer who places the order and is hereinafter referred to as the buyer/buyer.  

3. Prices
The quoted price for goods and services is the total price to be paid by the buyer. This price includes all taxes and additional costs. Notam uses Hoopla as a solution for the sale of tickets to our events. When purchasing tickets, their terms and conditions for ticket buyers.

All prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK). Notam's services are not subject to VAT. The prices of our services are therefore stated without VAT, and VAT will not be added. 

4. Payments
The seller can demand payment for the item from the time it is sent from the seller to the buyer. In the case of Notam, this will be when the buyer has received confirmation and/or receipt of course enrolment, or confirmation and/or receipt of a ticket. If the buyer uses a credit or debit card for payment, the purchase price will be deducted when the course place is reserved. 

Invoices can be used to pay for services, such as professional assistance, or to pay for utilised studio time. When paying by invoice, the invoice is issued to the buyer after the visit. The payment deadline is stated on the invoice and, unless otherwise agreed, is 14 days from receipt.

5. Delivery
Delivery has taken place when the buyer has received the goods. In the case of Notam, this will be when the buyer has received confirmation and/or receipt of course enrolment, or confirmation and/or receipt of a ticket. 

6. Right of cancellation
Unless the agreement is exempt from the right of cancellation, the buyer can cancel the purchase of the item in accordance with the Cancellation Act. 

Professional assistance
Services that have already been completed with the consumer's consent, such as professional assistance and guidance on projects, cannot be cancelled, in line with the Cancellation Act. 

Course fees
Registration for courses at Notam can be cancelled or rebooked with a full refund of the course fee up to 14 days before the course starts. Course fees paid when registering for Notam's courses are non-refundable if there are less than 14 days left until the course starts. If the course is cancelled by Notam, the course fee will be refunded in full to the buyer. 

Deadline for rebooking or cancelling studio time
Cancellation or rebooking of a reserved studio can be done up to 24 hours before the reserved time starts, beyond this the reservation will be invoiced. These terms do not apply in the event of illness. 

Ticket purchase
Tickets for events are not refundable. If the event is cancelled by Notam, the ticket price will be refunded to the buyer. 

7. Complaints
Notam does not sell products and/or objects where complaints would be relevant. Our courses, concerts and professional assistance in projects are constantly under development, we value feedback.

8. Personal data
The data controller for collected personal data is the Seller. Unless the Buyer consents otherwise, the Seller may, in accordance with the Personal Data Act, only collect and store the personal data that is necessary for the Seller to fulfil its obligations under the agreement. The buyer's personal data will only be disclosed to others if it is necessary for the seller to fulfil the agreement with the buyer, or in statutory cases.

9. Conflict resolution
Any complaints should be addressed to the seller within a reasonable time. The parties shall endeavour to resolve any disputes amicably. If this does not succeed, the buyer may contact Consumer Authority for mediation.
