On the third Thursday of the month, Notam will be organising meetings for people who work with programming, electronics and audio technology. The meeting is an opportunity to share ideas and inspire each other in innovative use of technology.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of level. We provide snacks and refreshments.
Programming, electronics and audio technology
Oslo has an active environment for art and music technology. Once a month we meet at Notam to look at code, electronics and audio technology, and to have fun and share experiences.
If you work with sound synthesis and algorithmic composition in systems such as SuperCollider, Max and Pure Data, this meetup is a good fit for you. Other things we do are electronics, open source software, signal processing, machine learning, generative art, composition, installations, live coding and instrument building.
The community at Notam for field recording, 3D audio and Ambisonics is also growing. If you are interested in this, please come by for a chat about techniques, workflow, aesthetics, ideas and sounds.
