If you are curious about programming, sound, live coding, and much more, you should come to Notam this spring. On the first Tuesday of the month in spring 2025, C2HO: Hub for creative coding in Oslo organizes a series of workshops in collaboration with Notam. Each workshop will be an introduction to a new technology or topic.
April 1st, 2025, from 18:00 - 20:00, there will be a workshop with Enrique Encinas on visuals and sound with AI and TouchDesigner.
This workshop explores how sound can shape visuals in real time using TouchDesigner. We’ll play with frequency, rhythm, and harmony to drive motion, texture, and color. You'll learn to analyze sound, map it to visuals, and code glitchy software creatures that respond dynamically to music. No prior TouchDesigner experience needed - just an interest in making visuals that listen.
In practice, we will be using TouchDesigner in combination with Stable Diffusion and other generative models to create real time discursive prompts that might lead to meaningful wtf moments, or not. This hands on session is for anyone curious about the intersection of AI and creative tools. No prior experience needed.
