How does it work?
At Notam, you can rent studios for developing experimental art and music at a subsidised rate. Our facilities include:
- Sound studio with recording room
- Surround sound studio for working with 3D sound
- Studio for digital and visual works
- Project room
- Workshop for electronics
Our facilities can be booked via our booking form, you can also check availability in the studios through our studio calendars.
In addition to renting out studios, we also offer guidance and support in the creative processes. At Notam, we have the skills to assist artists with: development of artistic ideas, sound engineering, development of hardware and software, etc.
If you would like our assistance on a project, you can send an e-mail in which you describe your project and the technical challenges you want help with. When doing this it is also important that you specify the time frame for the project.
Prices
For independent artists:
Notam's hourly rate for guidance, assistance with creative work, or in the studio is NOK 380.
The hourly rate for renting one of our studios is NOK 50. The daily rate (8 hours) is NOK 250.
The prices for Notam's Project Room are: hourly rate NOK 300, daily rate NOK 2,000, weekly rate (7 days) NOK 9,000.
For institutions:
Notam's hourly rate for guidance, assistance with creative work, or in the studio is NOK 650.
The hourly rate for renting one of our studios is NOK 170. The daily rate (8 hours) is NOK 850.
The prices for Notam's Project Room are: hourly rate NOK 510, daily rate NOK 2,550, weekly rate (7 days) NOK 10,200.
