How does it work?
At Notam, you can rent studio and workspace to develop experimental art and music at a subsidised rate. Our facilities include:
- Sound studio with recording room
- Surround sound studio for working with 3D sound
- Studio for digital and visual works
- Project room
- Workshop for electronics development
Our facilities can be booked via our booking form, and you can check availability in the studios via the booking calendars.
In addition to studio hire, we also offer guidance and support in creative processes - from idea development to completion of works. At Notam, we can assist artists with: development of artistic ideas, sound engineering, development of hardware and software, etc.
If you would like our help, you can send an e-mail in which you describe your project and the technical challenges you want help with. It is important that you specify the time frame for the project.
Prices
Notam's hourly rate for counselling, assistance in the studio and help with creative work is NOK 380.
The hourly rate for hiring a sound studio, broadcasting studio or visual media studio at Notam is NOK 50. The daily rate (8 hours) is NOK 250.
For hire of Notam's Project Room: hourly rate NOK 300, daily rate NOK 2000, weekly rate (7 days) NOK 9000.
