Privacy policy

At Notam, we only use your data to provide you with information about activities at Notam, or in connection with bookings and agreements with you. All personal data collected is processed in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

In the privacy policy below you can read about how we process your personal data.

Personal data we collect from you
We process the following personal data: name, telephone number and e-mail address. In certain cases, we also collect and register credited photographs. The personal data is collected directly from you or is generated in connection with your use of our services. 

Credit card information in collected in connection to ticket purchases, or when registering for Notam's courses and workshops is not handled by us, but by our third-party payment providers Paypal, WooCommerce and Hoopla. 

How we use the personal data
We use your personal data to fulfil our agreements with you, i.e. when you have made a booking, signed up for a course or entered into a agreement for professional guidance with us. The basis for processing personal data for this purpose is that the processing is necessary to fulfil our agreement with you. If you have signed up for our newsletter, we will use your e-mail address to send it to you. You will only receive newsletters if you have signed up yourself.

In some cases, we are required to process personal data, such as invoicing, where we are obliged to store information in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act.

Your rights
You may at any time request access to your personal data. You may at any time request that your personal data be updated. You can do this by sending an e-mail to admin@notam.no. You have the right to gain access to your personal data, to have your data deleted, or to demand that incorrect data stored about you be corrected.

    • You can request a copy of all data we process about you. 
    • You have the right to ask us to correct or supplement information that is incorrect or misleading.
    • You can ask us to delete information about yourself at any time. Please note that information that we are required to retain for the purposes of the Bookkeeping Act will not be deleted.
    • You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Please contact us at the email address above to obtain your personal data.

    Right to complain
    If you have any questions or objections to how we process your personal data, please contact us by e-mail: admin@notam.no. 

    It is also possible to submit an official complaint to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable personal data legislation or the GDPR.
