Kate Pendry Workshop: The Art of Manipulation (day 1)

Notam is launching a unique opportunity to participate in two different workshops with playwright and actress Kate Pendry.

In connection to the workshops, Pendry will also make a presentation of her work on Friday afternoon, June 3rd at 6:00 PM.

Workshop 1: The art of manipulation 

Do you want to learn how to manipulate an audience? During this workshop with Kate Pendry, you will learn about the power of language and how to harness its seductive qualities. As examples Pendry will be using William Shakespeare and Donald Trump.

Participants will get an introduction to the musicality of the language, and it’s hypnotic elements. You will learn how rhythm, tone and timbre can be used as tools in the alchemy of manipulation, and how language seduces. The workshop is suitable for professional musicians, composers and artists. There is no need for prior knowledge on the subject – all you will need is pen and paper.
