Working at Notam

If you are a professional artist and just want to use our facilities (studios, workshop and open office space), you can do so for free, and by appointment.

If you are interested in getting access to Notam and our facilities you can send us an email. If you have a bigger project idea which involves development: Describe your idea in detail in an email and we will get back to you.

Working at Notam during Covid-19 

Due to the current situation Notam is only open by booking or appointment. 

These are the current Covid-19 related rules:

  1. If you are ill, or experiencing symptoms of illness – stay home
  2. You can only visit Notam by appointment or booking – studio/room booking
  3. Use hand sanitiser and wash your hands often
  4. Wash all surfaces and contact points before, and after using a room

There are disinfectants available in all rooms at Notam.

Please register yourself every time you work at Notam to help potential contact tracing efforts.

General information 

Pricing

Independent use of Notams facilities are generally free of charge. If you are in need of a technician to help you in the studio or on a project, the pricing is 300 NOK per hour for artists, and 500 NOK per hour for art and culture institutions. Use of the studio without a technician is 300 kroner for art and culture institutions.

Note: Notam is an institution exclusively for artistic and non-commercial activity.

If you are working on something at Notam, we kindly ask that you fill out this form and tell us, and everyone else what you are working on.

Code of conduct 

When working at, or with Notam, one must at all times adhere to our code of conduct. If you experience any behaviour that is in breach of our policies you can notify us through one of our channels for anonymous feedback.

New door during construction

The premises surrounding Notam are currently under construction, this means the main entrance door has been moved to the side of the building facing the parking area.

This new outer door has it’s own pin code which you will need to access Notam outside of normal working hours. To get this pin code, get in touch with either thomj@notam.no or blom@notam.no
