Lydmyren presents Annette Krebs

Annette Krebs (Germany) has a background in classical music, and has studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Drama Frankfurt am Main. She has been active in the contemporary environment in Berlin since 1993, and is one of the founders of Echtzeitmusik. As a composer and performer, she has developed a personal style that draws inspiration from classical music, contemporary music and contemporary art.

At Notam, she will perform using an “extended” electro-acoustic guitar, a kind of multi-instrument consisting of amplified strings, woods, metal objects, enhanced voice samples and signal processing, and she will perform a new work for six speakers.
