SuperCollider is a text-based programming tool for music. Originally developed by James McCartney, but later released as an open source project. Today being developed by many programmers and artists the world over. It is a very rich and strong tool that can be used in many different ways such as: performances of music in real time, interactive music, art installations, interfacing with microcontrollers and sensors, live coding, music composition, etc.

PS. If you are a Linux user then it is an advantage if you install SuperCollider in advance. You have to download it from github build it yourself, but it’s pretty easy if you follow the instructions in the README file. If you have problems with this then please contact your tutor.

Welcome!
